How we use it
Nothing else is collected. There is no profiling, no automated decision-making, no advertising, and no transfer outside the UK and EEA. We use no analytics, no tag managers and no third-party CAPTCHA, so your details are never passed to another company.
Our lawful basis is your consent, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a), given by the unticked checkbox on the booking form. Marketing email is a separate opt-in and is never a condition of booking.
Who sees what
Other riders see only aggregate figures: how many people are coming, the mix of bike types, experience levels and licences, and the list of models on the ride. Your name, address and comment are visible to the ride organisers alone, and every time an organiser opens an attendee list it is written to an audit log.
How long we keep it
Booking records are deleted 12 months after the event's end date by an automatic nightly job. You do not need to ask.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to export it, to restrict how we use it, or to delete it entirely. Message us on WhatsApp with the email address you booked with and we will search every table for it and erase it permanently.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
